I almost forgot, these are the pink roses that were hiding under the Japanese maple tree – frozen and icy as well.

Thanks guys – they were extraordinary! I was up there two days ago and now all the leaves on the maple are gone and the roses have turned brown. So sad. I’m glad I have these shots of them.
